Japanese croissants and chocolate shining above the French?! Dis moi que ce n’est pas vrai (John helped with that one!)! I would love the chance to go to France and then to Japan to decide for myself! Ahhh, maybe someday… :-)

Oh… we have one near our place but I’ve never tried them. I’m always so disappointed in Japanese bakery items, that I assumed this would be along the same lines. Luckily I gave up chocolate last week, otherwise it could be me getting much heavier after this post…

C’est drole! It’s funny… A French girl saying that they do it better than the French… when talking about the “French institution” that the Pain au Chocolat is… quite a statement! And Rachael, for the French lover in you, I believe Quebec people have the best word for the Pain au chocolat. They call it “chocolatine”…
