I am on the cooking ministry, at my church, and I am responsible for the Wednesday night meals. I love to keep it fresh and not repeat menus so I am always looking for something easy, yet will please a crowd. I am definitely going to make this recipe. I do, however, have a question. I am going to be cooking about 20 pork chops and only have 1 crockpot. Could I do this in some roasting pans and cook at about 200 degrees for the allotted amount of time, or would they be dried out? I guess I could do these in batches an just reheat the other batches together. Anyways, I am definitely going to do this one for my family too.

Ingrid-- No, the ranch flavor isn't strong at all! In fact, when you taste it I don't really think you taste ranch. It melds with the cream cheese, soup, and butter flavors to develop a flavor all it's own. I think it would be a bit bland without it, since you are getting a lot of seasoning from the packet. You could try replacing the ranch with another flavor though, like Italian!
