Happy Thanksgiving!

in Family

As Thanksgiving draws to a close, I can't help but feel so grateful for so many things.  The Fuji family is currently in Utah.  We attended the funeral of my grandma this past weekend and then stuck around to be with family for Thanksgiving.

I am grateful for family.

I am grateful for my children.

I am grateful for the opportunity we have to sit down together at a beautiful table and enjoy a delicious meal and each other's company.

I'm especially grateful to be part of a family who loves me, no matter what.

I lost my mother the week before thanksgiving in 2002. I hosted the dinner myself, with all 40 immediate family members in a small 1,100 square foot apartment.  It's one of the best thanksgivings in my memory, even though the mood was somber that year.  we were all together, that was enough.
My condolences for your grandmother, and wishes for many happy holidays for you, your family and children to come.
Peace and love and good happiness, stuff.

I love the new look!  I hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  I just love that shot of you with the spoon…so typical.  Don't you remember anything from KJ's?  Shame. :) Love you!
