Yaki Shiitake (Shiitake & Scallion Yakitori) for The Mushroom Channel

in Appetizers, Fruits & Vegetables, Japanese, Recipes By Region, Recipes by Type

So you already know that we’re big fans of mushrooms here in the Fuji household.  But what you might not know is that I’m one of the contributors for The Mushroom Channel, the website for the Mushroom Council, for the 2010 year!  In fact, my first post went live this morning.  With the beautiful weather we’ve been having here in Southern California, I’ve been craving things cooked on the grill.  Recently I whipped up some yaki shiitake, a mushroom twist on Japanese yakitori.  Read all about it and get the recipe for Yaki Shiitake on The Mushroom Channel.

Congrats on the Mushroom Channel piece–well done. You will have to post a pic of your daughter in a few years when one of those front teeth in her big beautiful smile has headed off to the tooth fairy. She is adorable!
