Chocolate Sandwich Cookies for Valentine's Day

Because I am determined not to let you find me with glazed eyes lying motionless on my kitchen floor come February 15th, I’ve been thinking of some ways to cut back on sugar overload between now and Valentine’s Day (less than two weeks away!).  Today I’m sharing a recipe for little chocolate sandwich cookies—white chocolate strawberry filling sandwiched between two dark chocolate sable cookies.  The sable cookies are lightly sweet, intended to highlight the rich chocolate flavors and compliment the white chocolate strawberry filling instead of overwhelming you with sugary sweetness.  To read more about these cookies and get the recipes, head over to my new blog on Babble.com’s Family Kitchen!
