I am super sad to see Pie Week come to a close. So sad, in fact, that you may just start seeing a pie a month around here. Plus, we have Pi(e) Day to look forward on March 14th, so all is not lost! As National Pie Day comes to a close, marking the end of my Pie Week celebrations, I wanted to make sure I snuck in a bit of chocolate, because life is just better with chocolate. My friend Greg, the mastermind behind the blog SippitySup, and the author of the oh-so-awesome book Savory Pies, graciously agreed to join the Pie Brigade and let me tease you with this gorgeous picture of his Chocolate Cream Pie topped with what he describes as a “gravity-defying Swiss meringue.” You know you want a slice, which means you’ll have to hop on over to SippitySup to get the recipe so that you can make yourself some pie.

Good grief, each recipe draws me in closer – Greg’s recipe is a winner for sure. What a fun week, birthday girl. X0
Ahh. That pie looks just as tall here as anywhere. Happy BDay (week). XOGREG
