Easy Holiday Canapé Trio

Easy Holiday Canapé Trio

Smoked salmon is one of my favorite things, and here I pair Changing Seas Norwegian Smoked Salmon with thin slices of toasted baguette, crisp slices of Persian cucumber, a tiny dollop of tangy crème fraiche, and a vinagery caper to top things off.

Brie and pears is one of my favorite combinations because they complement each other so well.  Here I layered sweet and creamy Comice pear slices with Whole Foods Market Exclusive Imported French Double Creme Brie 60% on top of slices of toasted baguette and drizzled them with the tiniest bit of Aseda Wild Honey.

My third canapé is a bit less traditional, as it is on the sweeter side of things—unlike most canapés which tend to be savory—but no less delicious.  I topped toasted slices of baguette with slices of Honey Crisp apple, a spoonful of New England Cranberry Co.’s Cranberry Chutney, and finished things off with a Whole Foods Market Truffled Roasted Walnut. The sweet crisp apple combined with the tangy cranberry chutney and the chocolate crunch of the walnut bring a fabulous trio to the canapé platter.
