What kind of camera do you use?

Up until February 2009, most of the photographs on this site were taken with a point and shoot (either a Canon Powershot or a Casio Exilim). In February I upgraded to a DSLR, a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi. As far as lenses go, I am using a Canon 50mm f/1.8 exclusively until there are enough pennies in my piggy bank to buy something like a Canon 100mm macro f/2.8. Occasionally I still use a point and shoot, but for the most part my DSLR does most of the work.

Who takes the photographs on La Fuji Mama?
Except where noted, I do.

Why haven’t you answered my comment/e-mail?
I love to hear from you, and love every single comment/e-mail that I receive. I just have a hard time keeping up sometimes (remember, I do have 2 little busy girls at home)! I do my best to reply to comments (especially those that ask questions), but I am not always successful, and for that, I apologize. I try to respond to each and every email I receive, but occasionally it may take me a few days, so bear with me!

I left a mean or rude comment, and it was deleted. Why?
This site may be a public space, but it is also my personal space and a product of my blood, sweat, and tears. Although I love to get a good discussion going, I ask that you only leave comments that you would be comfortable saying aloud to me in person, and I reserve the right to delete any comment that is hurtful or nasty.
