So, the babe is basically back on a schedule. Phew! Actually, it wasn’t as bad as I was expecting it to be, but it did take some patience. She gets cuter every day. She will be 4 months old on Monday–yeah! I love how much more responsive she is as the days pass. Although it makes me sad to have her “growing up” already, it is way too fun to watch her become her own little person. Growing may be the wrong word choice. She still fits into all of her 0-3 month size clothes. She is a petite little thing! She has her 4-month checkup next week with her pediatrician and I am hoping that her weight gain is satisfactory. She has really bad acid reflux and so spits up a lot of what she eats. When we were in the States she had an upper GI barium x-ray done, so we got to watch the barium go all the down to her stomach and then shoot right back up again. Her pediatrician in the States put her on 2 new prescriptions to help combat the reflux. The new meds seem to be helping, but her appointment next week will be the real test.
I have been working on a new title banner thingy for my blog, but now can’t figure out how to actually use it. I can’t seem to replace the template that blogger provides. If anyone knows how to do this, please tell me how!
I have a new WIP! This time I am doing a little crocheting. It will eventually be a ripple babyghan for a friend whose baby is due in August! I need to really move on it because we are throwing her a shower mid-May before most people leave for the States or to travel for the summer. No languishing on this project!

She’s so adorable, every day she must be changing so much. The good news is there are a couple of things on their way to you. I’ll send you some email clues in a little bit. The blanket looks great, what pattern are you using?
Thanks! I think she’s adorable, but you never know whether that is just parental bias or not, so it’s always nice when someone else thinks so too!
Oooh! I love knowing I am getting mail!
I am using a Coats & Clarks pattern called Ripple Romance Afghan. The pattern is for a regular sized afghan, but I am changing the dimensions so that it is baby sized. You can check it out here:

Well, posting the link in the comments is not working, so I will post it in my next blog entry!
