Well, here it goes. I needed to find a way to collect my thoughts on life. I read lots of blogs done by other people around the world, and decided that it was time that I try my hand at blogging. It has taken a little bit of effort to push myself towards actually setting up the blog once the decision to become a blogger was made. I have this fear that I will have nothing to say, at least nothing worth reading. All of you out there in the blogging world always seem to make your lives seem so interesting, or come up with witty insights, or create something to share. Who knows what purpose this particular blog will serve in the big blogosphere out there? I guess only time will tell.

It may seem strange for someone to write a lone, stray comment on your first blog post from more than two years ago, but I stumbled upon your blog for the first time within the past hour and am amazed to see where you started and what has transpired! I thought it might be fun to remind you that you once wondered if you would have anything to say that would be worth reading and that only time would tell. Time has spoken loud and clear! You are one of the interesting, witty, wonderful and successful bloggers in the big blogosphere!
I so enjoyed reading this beginning post and then your wonderful, full-fledged recent post on August 12, 2009, about the influences of your grandmother and Julia Child.
I wrote a similar post on my just-getting-started blog, and will post a link to your much lovelier version. I appreciate that you are such a good writer and illustrator. Definitely worth reading! Cheers!
