Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow

in Uncategorized

On Friday I went in for a bit of a chop, 13 inches to be exact. Bye bye Rapunzel hair!

Hello lightheadedness! It’s been awhile since I’ve cut off that much hair. This time around it’s going to Locks of Love which actually made the cut way more fun since I know that all that hair isn’t just going into the garbage can.

In other exciting news, the Fuji family is no longer homeless! We finally closed on a house on Friday (this has been in the works for three months now)! Our move-in date will be sometime later this month. I love the house and am excited to get settled in and have things go back to being a bit “normal” (if our family ever is truly normal).

Squirrel and I, and now Mr. Fuji, are still in Utah. We’ll be here a bit longer than anticipated as Mr. Fuji’s grandmother suffered a stroke last week and is currently in the hospital. She was just moved out of the ICU which is positive step forward.

A big thanks to Contamination of Mottekaero jDonuts for a fun interview. Contamination has started a series of “jBlogger” interviews (interviews of fellow bloggers who blog about Japan). If you are interested, you can read the interview here.

Your hair looks wonderful!! I just chopped my off too but I was two inches shy of being able to donate it to Locks of Love:( Oh well, maybe next time! And congrats on the house!
All our best to Mr. Fuji’s Grandma. If you need anything let us know, I know we’re a bit farther up North than probably where Mr.Fuji’s family’s at, but an hour drive is nothing:)

Wow, huge hair change, and so glam too! You look great! Glad that you could cut enough to donate, that is such a cool program.

Love the hair! That is super cute! That is great that you can donate your hair as well. Wish we had something like that in Australia years ago – I went from hair your (Rapunzel) length to a short, short crop.

Congratulations on the house!

It must feel like you lost 4 pounds, probably because you did. Your hair looks fabulous!

Reminds me of when I had my hair cut short.

Then again we didn’t have anything like Locks Of Love back then in Australia.
