In times of war.

in Uncategorized

Today my attention was called to a very serious problem, very serious indeed. There is a war going on, and most people don’t even realize it. Please join with me in taking up arms and joining the ranks of troops fighting the war on the Chocolate Front.

To learn more about this cause, please read this article: A Call to Chocolate Arms by Laura Florand.

Are you with me? Copy a poster (right click and “Save Picture As”) and post it as a blog button, Ravelry avatar, or wherever else you would like, and join the fight! Also, if you want the image in a larger size, I’d be happy to email it to you, just ask! (fujimama1 at gmail dot com)

“Make a list of important things to do today. At the top of your list, put ‘eat chocolate.’ Now, you’ll get at least one thing done today.”–Gina Hayes

Women of the world, UNITE. We can do it! I know I will try hard to do MY part (and probably the part of several others as well)…

I heard there was a cocoa shortage. I hope it’s not true. The older I get, the higher percentage of chocolate I need. Maybe my taste buds are getting old…I just blame it on the all the healthy advantages of chocolate that I read about.

hehehe… love it! Actually, I tasted Hershey’s chocolate once, was so excited, thought it must have been some great chocolate, but it was awful! Haven’t touched the American stuff since. Give me Aussie chocolate, or Swiss, or Belgian, though preferably not Japanese, chocolate instead anyday.

Oh, and I’m with Melissa, I need more chocolate the older I get.
