Life Is Good

in Uncategorized

Do you ever have one of those moments where for no particular reason at all it just hits you that life is good? Today has been one of those days for me. I have no idea why. It was a cold and gloomy day, not the type of day that usually inspires happy thoughts. It was also a very normal day, filled with normal things. Despite all of this, I am glad to be alive. Maybe it was the yummy chicken chalupas that were leftover from dinner last night that awaited me in the refrigerator, maybe it was Squirrel figuring out how to grind her teeth (okay, maybe not), or maybe it was discovering that I could download the music from Fraggle Rock for free (nostalgia can be a great “feel good”). Or, maybe not–who knows!

I did get to end my day by going to SNB over at the Pink Cow in Shibuya. We were small in numbers tonight, only three of us, but we had a good time.

For those of you that observe Remembrance Day and knit or crochet, you still have time to make yourself a poppy:

sometimes it’s the totally run-of-the-mill normal days that make you feel like you’ve really got it good :) i know how you feel.

Yes, a truly normal, nothing-out-of-the-ordinary day is just perfect sometimes! I’m glad you were able to recognize it and enjoy it!
