The following exchange took place Wednesday night while Squirrel and I were sitting on the couch before bed time, reading books.
Squirrel (looking at a book): Is that *mumble, mumble, mumble*?
Me: Is that who?
Squirrel (a bit louder this time): Is that Jewia Child?
Me (in shocked surprise): Julia Child?
I quickly ran and grabbed the photo I had used as part of the decor for my Julia Child meal several weeks ago, showed it to Squirrel and asked, “Who is that?” Nodding her head with complete confidence she replied, “Oh, that’s Julia Child.”
It was a proud moment for me.
