Well, SP10 has drawn to a close. It is bittersweet for me. This was my first experience with doing a Secret Pal exchange and I loved every minute of it! So, while it is so fun to reveal myself to my Spoilee and finally get to find out who my Spoiler was, I’m sad that it is over! Today the post man paid me a little visit and brought me this package:
Inside was a gorgeous ball of Sublime, extra fine merino wool, dk weight, in a gorgeous berry shade! My Pal told me in her card that she had just knitted a Baby Shedir (a pattern from Knitty, modified to fit a baby by Something for Nothing) for her little girl, and she thought this yarn would be perfect for the pattern so that I could do one for my own little girl! What a great idea! Also in the package was a box of Guylian chocolate seashells. Mmmm . . . how did my SP know that these are one of my faves? I was so excited to finally find out that my pal is the creative force behind Knit Annie! I warn you, if you check out her blog, it WILL make you hungry! Her kitchen creations look mouthwateringly yummy! Thank you Knit Annie for such a wonderful SP experience and for spoiling me rotten!

Now, it is always fun to receive, but I always love giving as well! My Spoilee was the awesome Miss Knit Knot! I have had a blast getting to know her!

My pleasure! I am just glad you had fun. My pal really spoiled me too but she hasn’t revealed herself yet. I hope she does soon. So what’s on your To Knit list now? I have really enjoyed all of your photos of Japan. I have always wanted to go there. We have sketchy plans to do a snowboarding trip in 5 years when our kids will be old enough for lessons. We’ll see if that pans out.
