This afternoon when I got home from running some errands I found these 2 packages at my door!
I have been completely spoiled by my Secret Pal. One package was from the JCasa shop on etsy.com. Check it out, it has some wonderful things to tantalize your pocketbook: www.jcasa.etsy.com The other package was sent directly by my Secret Pal, all the way from . . . AUSTRALIA! See:
How fun is that? Inside the JCasa package was this beautiful little bundle:
Underneath the beautiful packaging was this awesome needle holder.
I LOVE the fabrics and colors! Is my SP trying to tell me that my current method of storing my needles may need to be classed up a bit? What, you mean plastic shoe boxes aren’t cool? :-) My needles are thanking you SP!
Inside the package from Australia was 2 skeins of Jo Sharp Alpaca Kid Lustre in this gorgeous deep eggplant purple color. The yarn is 30% superfine alpaca, 40% kid mohair, and 30% merino. It is yummy and soft and has a beautiful sheen to it. I can’t wait to see how it knits up. I am excited to try a new kind of fiber!

To help me decide what to do with the yarn, my SP included Jo Sharp’s Knit, Issue 2, which features the Alpaca Kid Lustre in some of the patterns.

I can’t wait to try some of these patterns! I love the lines–very classic, yet still fun and new. I also love some of the color combos that are used. Who wouldn’t love patterns such as these?

This bag is nice because it folds up small and is super light weight, but is big and roomy–so it can go anywhere with me and hold lots of stuff!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU SP! Or as we say in the Land of the Rising Sun: ARIGATO!

You are most welcome SP. I am glad you like your loot as its always nerve-wracking buying for someone you don’t know. Jennifer did a lovely job on the needle roll. I just love her stuff and her blog is great.
I might be out of contact for the next few weeks as we are on holiday but I’ll get in contact when we return.
i am so glad to have found your blog and to find out that you like the needle roll – i was *hoping*!
enjoy and take care!
