Things have been pretty uneventful in the Fuji Mama household for the past couple of days. It is still the rainy season here in Japan, and it has been raining all week. It doesn’t help that we had the threat of Typhoon Man-yi to anticipate. Man-yi passed us by with very little drama. In fact, we get more impressive weather with a lot of the regular storms that come through here.
Tomorrow I am hopping on a plane with my daughter and heading for the good ‘ol US of A for a few weeks. My baggage may raise a few eyebrows while going through inspection, as it is loaded down with all sorts of Japanese contraband, such as multiple bottles of Pepsi Ice Cucumber, all sorts of Japanese candy, and various other items that have been requested by Fuji Mama relatives that we will be visiting.
I will try and keep things updated, but I can’t promise how often I will be able to post. Please don’t give up on me!
