Today was a grey dreary day outside.

So it is very appropriate that today color is GREY!

1. Elevator buttons 2. Cobblestones 3. Boots 4. Car 5. Stone lantern 6. cement truck

Despite today being dreary and grey, there were things that brought in the sunshine! For starters, I would like to personally thank IKEA for selling their very affordable coasters. Who knew that they would become the playthings of a very enthusiastic almost one-year-old?

If that wasn’t enough sunshine to chase away the gray, then this sight that met me at my front door certainly was!

Yes, Swappy has done it again! She has spoiled me silly.

Included in the package: Brea Bag pattern, Gardiner Yarn Works Succulent Socks pattern, UNLV postcard, 3 skeins Knit Picks Wool of the Andes in the Hollyberry colorway, size 9 (5.50 mm) Knit Picks Options Interchangeable Harmony Knitting Needle Tips . . .

the book Weekend Knitting by Melanie Falick . . .

and a Shaun the Sheep backpack to help indoctrinate Squirrel into the knitting world early!

As you can see, Squirrel and Shaun are close friends already, as she has already taken to giving him copious amounts of wet slobbery kisses. Thank you Swappy! The package was absolutely perfect!

I also now know the “true identity” of Swappy J. Swappington, my spoiler for SP11. She is the proud owner of the blog polliwannablog. She has been the most awesome spoiler! Not only has she sent the most amazing packages, but she has taken the time to get to know me, AND she has continued to make the effort to email me despite the fact that about a month ago she broke her hand! Whether she likes it or not, I think she may be stuck with me because I have grown accustomed to “having her around”.
