The answer to that question definitely depends on the day in question. This week however, the things on the list would likely be the following Good Things:
2. Unexpected birthday package from Polly: Any package that arrives on my doorstep containing things like handknits for Squirrel, yarn hand-dyed by the sender herself, and massive quantities of belgian chocolate, is definitely going to put a smile on this girl’s face!
3. Squirrel antics: Usually when Squirrel gets her paws on anything electronic, whether it be a cell phone or a TV remote control, she takes off with it in utter delight (all the while knowing that she’s not supposed to have it). Usually when you try and reclaim said electronic item, she will fight you for it, and when you eventually succeed in getting it back, you will have an upset Squirrel to deal with. Yesterday my cell phone fell off the back of the couch where I had set it down. Squirrel saw this happen and went straight for it, as expected. Unexpectedly she said, “Uh oh!” as she reached down to pick it up, and then turned and handed it to me . . . WITHOUT A FIGHT! So cute. Of course she has yet to repeat this sweet little performance, and we are back to her hoarding electronics for herself. 4. You Make My Day Award!: I am just doing my thing, hanging out in blogland, and my bloggy friend Phoe awarded me the “You Make My Day” Award on her blog! To receive such nice recognition really does make MY day. The idea behind this is “Give the award to 10 people whose blogs bring you happiness and inspiration and make you feel happy about blogland. Let them know by posting a comment on their blog so they can pass it on.”

YES! I’m so glad I could make at least one person’s day!
You need to hone Squirrel’s enthusiasm for small valuables into pick-pocketing or shoplifting. College fund sorted. Oh wait, with those kind of skills college-schmollege!
Oh! Thank you for nominating me! I’ll post really soon!
It’s funny, one of my friends, the other Melanie of the Mel and Seigo blog, kind of turned a blind eye to her son playing with her phone until he broke it. She really wanted a new phone and her son breaking it sounded like the perfect excuse to get one ;)
Oooh I am so glad that the random number fell on this little blogger in Marrakech. Thank you!
Congratulations for your prize ! ;-)
