Birthdays and Travelling

in Uncategorized

Squirrel turned the big #1 on Sunday! She thoroughly enjoyed the experience of eating chocolate and birthday icecream cake for the first time. She was a little frightened by all of the attention she was receiving when we sang Happy Birthday to her, but she got over it quickly with that first taste of chocolate (that’s my girl!). I think she has decided that because she is so old now, that it is time to start using more sophisticated language. Over the past month or so she has been adding such words to her vocabulary as “Buh-bye” and “Uh-oh”. Since her birthday however, she has added the phrases, “Good girl” and “Hi Kitty” to her repertoire.

In other news, Keito-chan made it safely to Polly’s house and has been very busy ever since. She has been making friends with the locals and visiting important dignitaries. I just hope that she continues to behave herself.
To see what she’s been up to most recently, watch the slideshow that her wonderful hostess put together:

Happy Birthday. Enjoy the few years you can smear cake on your face without looking like pig.

BTW, Keito-chan said something about wanting to work a typical Las Vegan job. Emily is taking care of that.
