Happy Birthday Squirrel!

in Family

Happy Birthday Squirrel!  Thanks for being my helper in the kitchen and my chief taste tester.  You're cute, even when you have a messy face.  I love you.  All I want to know is, how is it possible that you're three already???

Ah, has it been three years since I paced those hospital halls in Tokyo?  It was worth every step!  I love you, Squirrel and Fuji Mama.

PS: Did you bake her her favorite birthday cake?

Happy Birthday to Squirrel, Happy Birthday to you oooooooo!!
Will you be making her favourite food for her birthday dinner or just giving her a nice big pile of seeweed to devour?

Megan–We’re having a feast of all her favorite foods! Edamame, miso soup, shoyu tamago (soy sauce eggs) and sushi!
