One year ago this month (around February 16th I think) I attended my first knitting class at my LYS in Germantown, Tennessee. It was a beginner’s class (duh!) and the project was a hat knit in the round. I had already taught myself to crochet the previous August, but I had no idea what I was getting myself into. That hat opened up the flood gates for me, and those gates cannot be closed (no matter how much my husband might wish they would close)! That class opened up my eyes to a magical world that I fell in love with.
If you are ever in Memphis, you have got to get over to Rainbow Yarn & Fibres. It is a wonderful little shop. The store owner, Brigitte, is absolutely fabulous, and a knitting diva. I miss it!
