THANK YOU!

in Uncategorized

Today marks 31 days of blogging EVERY SINGLE DAY! I did it! Thanks to NaBloPoMo for the fun challenge, but especially thank you to all of you. I loved hearing from all of you who “delurked”–thank you for your comments. For at least the rest of this month, I don’t think I will be posting every day, but I think I will be posting every couple of days. I have found that I like posting more often.

I finished up all of the colors suggested by JCasa, so there isn’t a color for today. However, I enjoyed the process so much, that I will be continuing on with other colors, so watch for a new color early next week! It’s amazing how you look at the world around you differently when you are looking for something as simple as a specific color. You start to notice things that you hadn’t noticed before.

Instead of one color, I will share lots of color with you today. This morning we went out to take our family pictures for this year’s family Christmas card. We went to Happo-en where there is a beautiful garden. All of the leaves have finally started changing here in Tokyo, and so Happo-en was awash with vibrant greens, reds, oranges, and golds. Perfect, simply perfect.

I love those Japanese maples. Reminds me of . . . home! Who would have thought when Andrew planted ours that it would tie us to you in Japan.

Congrats on completing the NaBlPoMo challenge. I’m thoroughly impressed. I love the colors in the lovely pictures you’ve posted. So many of my favorite colors all together.
