As I’ve struggled to decide on what to write about for my last post of 2010, I reflected back over the year—the many posts I’ve written, the experiences I’ve had, and the many wonderful people I’ve been fortunate to meet in real life from the blogging world. My life has been truly blessed and enriched because of this tiny little space on the internet. But really, when it comes right down to it, I wouldn’t have had such an amazing year if it hadn’t been for all of you. You have propelled me forward, challenged me to grow, and inspired me to become more than I am. So I think it’s appropriate that I share the posts that have been your favorites from 2010, at least according to blog stats. I’m curious—is your favorite post on the list?
- How to make handmade udon noodles—it’s easier than you might think!
- How To Make Basic Tofu & Wakame Miso Soup
- Fuji Cream Puffs—So quick and easy that you’ll wonder why you haven’t made them before!
- Caramel Popcorn
- @nestlefoodie’s Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies (Better than the original! Shhh…don’t tell!)
- How To Make Dashi (Basic Japanese Sea Stock)—No instant dashi granules included.
- Japanese Strawberry Shortcake
- Cream Puffs Filled With Lemon Mascarpone Cream
- Zakkoku Mai Onigiri—Japanese Mixed Grain Rice Balls
- Simple Sandwich Bread
As we move into 2011, I would love to know what you would like to see here on LFM! Happy New Year! Here’s to an equally fabulous 2011!

Such a tasty top 10! Yes, that bread is da bomb! As are the creampuffs, as is EVERYTHING….xoxo Happy Happy New Year Fuji’s! xoxo
I have been trying to post my comment seems like forever…it froze up on my twice now.
I was wondering how you were going to select just ten out of all your wonderful posts! I know I have many favorites and have even made a few…like tofu steak and yakisoba. I have learned so much from your blog and you have given me the tools to use like making a midweek meal special with a flair and many new flavors to try. If I have to pick one from the list then I would have to say #9 zakkoku mai onirgiri and #1 udon noodles…okay that two, but that’s only because I can’t bake. I think it’s so interesting what post is the most popular on my blog it’s my savory aebleskiver one. (Just in case you wanted to know) :D
It’s been such a pleasure getting to know you and I consider you a friend even though we have not met in person. You are lucky you get an opportunity to meet so many fellow bloggers. Looking forward to next year and all that it will bring.
Happy New Year!
Cheers!
Lyndsey
