Aren’t you all so smart? Yes, Location #1 was Singapore, and Location #2 was Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Bravo!
We woke up at 3:50 a.m. yesterday morning (Sunday) and left our hotel by 4:30 a.m. We got to the Kuala Lumpur airport (which is in the middle of Nowhere) at about 5:30 a.m. Our flight left at 7:00 a.m. We’ve been exploring this new location ever since. Okay, now for Episode 2 of our little game! The clues this time around will be sans photos because the internet connection in these internet cafes here are interminably slow. So now we’re really going to test your smarts!
1. Our flight was 2 hours long, but we landed at 8:00 a.m. because we changed time zones.
2. This place primarily uses U.S. dollars. It is a coinless culture. It does have its own currency, but the currency is so worthless that it is usually only used to give you change (since they don’t use coins, they can’t give you change in U.S. money).
3. One of the national dishes here is called amok.
4. Cobras are very common in the region where we are staying.
5. This place has two seasons: dry season (the current season) and rainy season.
6. According to official statistics, this place is the most homogeneous in Southeast Asia, with around 96% of the people who live here being of the original ethnic origins.
Have you figured it out yet? If not, I’ll give you the biggest clue. All you need are two little words:
TOMB RAIDER.

vietnam? or thailand? hhmmmm, the coinless part has me a little thrown.
Ooof, I’ve gotten behind on your blog. I’m really enjoying catching up, though. The travel pictures are wonderful. I think it’s really wrong though, that I’m most entranced by the sushi pictures and descriptions. Sigh. I miss sushi. Have safe travels!
I have no clue…india? Where every you are, it sounds like an adventure…take me next time. Oh, and I totally knew the Kuala Lamur one (thank you Amazing Race)
Hmmm, from Kuala Lumpur you could fly into Phnom Penh, Cambodia…then you could road trip to Laura Croft’s Ankar Wat.
Misspent youth and Int’l flight terminals…we LOVE Amazing Race as well!
No idea to be honest! So cool that you get to travel around! Have tons of fun!
You may be having fun traveling, but I’m having even more fun chasing our energetic little Squirrel all over Tokyo. What a cute little nut.
We think you are in Cambodia. Continue the game! This is fun…
My turn now: we are leaving tomorrow from China to a series of islands claimed by Philippines, China, Malaysia, Vietnam… in the South China sea… Where are we going?
