Holdover Tenant

Dear Squirrel,

One year ago today you were due to be born. Your lease was up and it was time to move out. December 8th, 2006 was the ending date of our original lease agreement between me, your landlord, and you, my tenant. However, on this day one year ago, you chose to continue to occupy the premises without my agreement. When I determined that you were not going to vacate the premises, I told you in no uncertain terms that you were to get out, and that if you did not, that a lawsuit for unlawful detainer would be filed. That threat did not seem to scare you, and you became my stubborn little holdover tenant. I hope this does not indicate what our future dealings may be like.
