Holiday Card Exchange–Do you want to receive a rat by snail mail?

in Uncategorized

Ysolda, a fellow blogger, started a holiday card exchange with her blog readers last year, is doing it again this year, and is encouraging other bloggers to do the same. I think this sounds like such a fun idea, that I’m going to do my own. To give it my own little twist, I’m going to give it a Japanese touch, since I am after all, living in Japan. In Japan, the Japanese people send New Year’s Day postcards (年賀状, nengajō), instead of Christmas cards. Many of these have the Chinese zodiac sign of the New Year as their design. 2008 is the year of the rat.

So if you would like to exchange a holiday card with me, just send me an email (fujimama1ATgmailDOTcom–insert appropriate symbols for AT and DOT) in the next couple of weeks with your address and I will send a New Year’s postcard to you! You can send me whatever kind of holiday card you wish–I just love getting mail!
