I’m currently in Tokyo, playing hard and trying to survive the heat and humidity. Despite the weather, I’m loving every second I have to spend here. Thankfully, sweet Averie of Love Veggies and Yoga is picking up the slack for me today with a fabulous post! She’s sharing some of her mouth watering dessert bites. I can’t wait to try some of these out when I get back to the US!

When Rachael asked me to do a guest post on her blog, I was flattered and excited. And then I wondered, what the heck should I discuss?
After thinking about it for a bit, I realized everyone likes desserts, and everyone likes things that are fast, easy, and taste great.
Hopefully this post gives you some ideas and gets your dessert wheels turning…
If you like white chocolate, pairing it with mango is a wonderful flavor combination in these easy No Bake White Chocolate & Mango Cookie Dough Bites
No one has time to slave away in the kitchen. And if you do, could you come over to mine and help me with the dishes?
If you’re more of a Heath Bar and toffee fan than a mango fan the No Bake Toffee & Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bites are a little bit Heath Bar, a little bit cookie dough, all in one.
Both Rachael and I are busy moms, and I work full time out of the house, so efficiency is the name of the game. But I also have this raging sweet tooth which never quite goes away so I have had to get creative in how I remedy it.
No Bake Coconut & Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bites are one such remedy.
If you like coconut these are for you.
And if you don’t, I have Raw Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough too, sans coconut.
All of these recipes and ideas are no-bake or raw (no oven, yay!) and just rely on a food processor or Vita-Mix.
All are vegetarian, and some are vegan. Most are also gluten-free.
Some are actually kind of “healthy” like these No Bake Oatmeal Raisin Carrot Cake Bites
All are delicious and easy and don’t make many dishes. I cannot stand cleaning up when I’d rather just be eating the fruits desserts of my labor.
The No Bake Vanilla Cake Batter Chocolate Truffles don’t require much labor though. Whew, good. The thought of actually working hard on dessert just isn’t a good one for me.
What is a great thought though is all the fun that Rachael is undoubtedly having on her trip!
I am getting ready to do some traveling myself, but I post twice a day on my blog, Love Veggies and Yoga, and I’d love it if you’d stop by and say hi!

Oh my gosh, that is sinful! Wanna have some for breakfast right now :-)
I had no idea you were in Tokyo. You are in your favorite places so I am sure you must be having a ball. Have fun and come back soon!
These bites make me a whole lotta happy! Yum!
Being a huge fan of Fuji Mama’s/Nana’s Toffee, I’m ALL over the toffee & chocolate chip cookie dough bites!
Thanks, Rachael, for having me!
You’re in Tokyo and I *just* got home hours ago from a whirlwind photography tour weekend in Mexico City.
I hope you’re having a wonderful time on your trip!
I’m glad you like the dessert bites and thanks to the previous commenters for your sweet words :)
Fantastic! I love a dessert that doesn’t require turning on the oven in the insane heat of July. Gonna pin all of these so I remember to make them!
@Amy @ A Little Nosh,
Aww, thank you :)
It’s almost 8pm and I’m thinking about which one of these I can throw together. Every single one of them sounds amazing.
All of them look so good.
Rachael,
I discovered your blog just before I saw you in Tokyo on Sunday. I told Rick that there was a famous blogger sitting behind us. I love your blog and all of your creative recipes.
@Vanalee Carruth, What a small world! Too funny! You are so sweet. Thanks for the kind words!
